**Position Overview:**
The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Financial Reporting:**
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
2. **Budgeting and Forecasting:**
- Lead the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance.
- Develop financial forecasts and models to support strategic planning.
3. **Internal Controls:**
- Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
4. **Financial Analysis:**
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability.
- Identify trends and variances, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
5. **Team Management:**
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial goals.
6. **Cash Flow Management:**
- Monitor cash flow and develop strategies to optimize liquidity.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
7. **Tax Compliance:**
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a management position.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
**Working Conditions:**
- Full-time position, with occasional overtime required during peak periods.
